Sustainable Diets game

Date and Time:

Thursday, November 24, 2016 - 10:00 to 13:00

Invitation to take part in an interactive policy game on sustainable diets: Thursday 24 November, 10am - 1:00pm (refreshments provided, 20 places only)

The Agriculture, Nutrition and Health Academy's Working Group on Sustainable Diets invites you to take part in a social and interactive game called Diet Dimensions.  The game functions as a simulation exercise that helps to illustrate opportunities and challenges when developing policies to improve the sustainability of food systems. As a live, social simulation, the purpose is to get people talking, interacting and thinking creatively. Participants from a range of backgrounds and disciplines form teams and collectively develop projects that can deliver more sustainable food systems in various settings. The game highlights the multidimensional nature of sustainable food systems and provides a novel way to explore different strategies and examine how they may impact different fields.

We have 20 places available for the game, which will take place between 10:00am and 1:00pm on Thursday 24 November, in SOAS. Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis and refreshments will be provided.
