Fiorella Picchioni is a PhD candidate at SOAS, University of London and the Leverhulme Centre for Integrative Research on Agriculture and Health (LCIRAH). Her research project focuses on the development of a novel food price indicator (the Minimum Calorie Expenditure Share) and the mechanisms through which food price fluctuations impact food and nutrition security. Prior to this, she worked for the FAO and holds a MSc in Advanced Development Economics.
